STATUS: ACCEPTING CLIENTS

Fitness Experience: I have been a Personal Trainer for 15 years and I have been with Fitness Unlimited for the past 8 years. I am always looking for new ways to learn and grow, there are so many exciting things happening in the fitness industry. Most recently, I obtained my BCRPA Group Exercise Certification and my Anthropometric Measurement course.

Philosophy on Exercise and Well-being: "You get out of your workout what you put into it".

I am passionate about health and fitness. I love helping people achieve their fitness goals. My clients inspire me and I am so proud of how far they have come on their own personal fitness journey that I can often be heard bragging about their successes. I understand first hand that health challenges can affect energy levels and make it difficult to stay dedicated to a workout program and I can help you with that.

About Me: I am a busy mother of two adult daughters and one young daughter. I am also a grandmother of two. My fitness journey began many years ago when I quit smoking and began running. In my spare time I love working out, running, gardening, walking, refinishing furniture and of course a little shopping.

Philosophy on exercise and well-being: For me, a healthy lifestyle is much more than just lifting weights and being active. It’s about stretching, warming up, eating healthily, getting the necessary rest and enough sleep. I love helping others see and experience what their bodies are capable of when they put their mind to it.

I’m very passionate about helping others find happiness in life and to feel good about themselves. I believe that when you FEEL GOOD, you excel in life.

About Me: I felt inspired to pursue a career in fitness after changing my own lifestyle, losing weight, and becoming the healthiest version of myself I've ever been. I know all too well the struggles of busy life and not making or having enough time to put your health first. Being a wife, a mother of two teenagers, and a laundry list of tasks that are never-ending, I had to learn how to prioritize and put my health first.

I make it a goal to help you achieve a happy and well-balanced lifestyle that will minimize the risk of future health-related issues.

Fitness Experience: I have been involved in athletics for most of my life. I’ve played a wide variety of sports including but not limited to, soccer, football, and lacrosse. In my later life, I started doing strength training as a way to get back into shape and lose weight after suffering an injury. This has evolved into the training of a wide variety of stability, core strength and functional movements.

Philosophy on Exercise & Well-being: I believe we all begin by taking that first step that leads us on a journey to become healthier. I love to see clients making strides to achieve their goals and becoming their better, stronger selves. To be able to help a client make those achievements and have a bit of fun along the way is a true passion of mine.

Why I train: I train because it improves my mental clarity, keeps me strong, and active and helps to minimize the chance of serious injury.

Interests & Hobbies: I enjoy challenging myself by performing ‘out of the box’ exercises, reading, and Barebow Target Archery.
