Fitness Experience: I have been a Personal Trainer for 15 years and I have been with Fitness Unlimited for the past 8 years. I am always looking for new ways to learn and grow, there are so many exciting things happening in the fitness industry. Most recently, I obtained my BCRPA Group Exercise Certification and my Anthropometric Measurement course.
Philosophy on Exercise and Well-being: "You get out of your workout what you put into it".
I am passionate about health and fitness. I love helping people achieve their fitness goals. My clients inspire me and I am so proud of how far they have come on their own personal fitness journey that I can often be heard bragging about their successes. I understand first hand that health challenges can affect energy levels and make it difficult to stay dedicated to a workout program and I can help you with that.
About Me: I am a busy mother of two adult daughters and one young daughter. I am also a grandmother of two. My fitness journey began many years ago when I quit smoking and began running. In my spare time I love working out, running, gardening, walking, refinishing furniture and of course a little shopping.

Fitness Experience: I have been actively involved in the fitness industry since 1988. I have been working as a BCRPA Certified Weight Trainer at Fitness Unlimited since 2001. I enjoy immensely training both the Novice and more advanced fitness seeker, designing fun and innovative programs to challenge them while still having FUN! I have also just completed my BCRPA Group Exercise Certification.
Philosophy on Exercise and Well-being: I am a firm believer of functional training as it translates into your daily life. Health and fitness has long been an integral part of my life and I enjoy immensely being able to pass on this lust to others.
About Me: I started weight training in 1979 after the birth of my 1st child as a way of 'getting back' into shape. However, this newly found interest quickly became my passion. I've worked in the fitness industry since 1988 and as a BCRPA Certified Weight Trainer since 2001. I've enjoyed trail running since 2005, or also known as 'Mother Nature's Treadmill'. I am the proud mother of 2 incredible children Chris and Alicia, who have followed their mom with a passion for fitness and 2 beautiful grandchildren Parker and Peyton and also have two loving grandpuppies Tater Tot and Maverick.
Why I Train: I train to help me maintain my personal health and it also allows me to stay young and happy...

Fitness Experience: I really started my fitness journey after returning home from a family vacation and seeing the pictures. Though I was not ‘fat’, I was not fit. I knew it was time to get into shape.
I began with weight-lifting/bodybuilding programs and after a couple of months and seeing the changes that were happening, I was hooked! In fact, my transformation from un-fit to fit was covered in the January 2019 issue of Inside Fitness magazine.
Lifting weights and bodybuilding is now a lifestyle. I was once asked “Why are you not a trainer?” and I did not have an answer. It was my passion and I decided to make it a wonderful career.
Philosophy on Exercise and Well Being: “My philosophy on training and well-being is rather simple. Lift properly, eat right, drink lots of water and be consistent. That’s it. Simple right? So many people expect immediate results and though you will indeed see changes in a short period of time, this is a lifestyle. Stay consistent, stay on track and train like you mean it.
About me: I am the father of an amazing son and husband to a fantastic wife. When I was younger, I was into soccer and track. I loved running long distance. A series of knee operations caused me to tone down the athletics, but now I love training the legs (#dontskiplegday) As well, I currently work full time at a local TV station. Living The Life!
Why I train: I train to help me maintain my personal health and it also allows me to stay young and happy….I have a young son that I have to keep up with!
Interests and Hobbies: I am a huge heavy metal lover (extreme stuff…not mainstream metal) and I love reading (fitness magazines and books, of course)
