Having struggled a lot with my weight in my younger years it was only after seeking assistance from a personal trainer and nutritionist that I realized how strong and powerful I could feel in my body. This led me to see the scale differently and stop letting it define me or my worth and success. This is also what led me to find my passion for training. I wanted to learn as much as I could, so in September 2015 I registered for the Personal Training Program. I originally did this for myself and then I realized how much I wanted to help other people with the same frustrations and experiences that were a part of my journey. I wanted to help people feel strong and powerful; that meant more to me than anything. Not long after I also became certified in group fitness in order to be able to help in more than just a one-on-one setting.

In 2021 I got pregnant with our son and made sure to keep fitness a part of my journey. As tired as I was during my pregnancy, I kept exercise a part of my weekly routine and continued after giving birth as well. This inspired me to look further for more expansion in fitness by taking a pre and postnatal course. I find a lot of women struggle to either keep up with their movements during pregnancy or find that gym groove again after birth. What better way to get back to feeling like yourself then to pair up with someone who has been there and had personal experiences to share and continue growing strength with?

Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, Hairdresser, Mom, Wife…I wear a lot of hats and find the balance can be tricky at times, but I promise you will never regret dedicating time to become the best version of you, book with me and let me help along the way!!

I grew up playing sports and was involved in high-level soccer for most of my life. My love for sports eventually evolved into a passion for movement and exercise, leading me to pursue a career in this field after high school. After experiencing the challenges of dealing with compartment syndrome in both of my legs, I had to put a pause on soccer and focus on rehab but through that journey my drive to stay active and help others grew.

I graduated from Douglas College in 2023 with my Bachelor of Physical Education, Coaching and Kinesiology degree and I am a registered Kinesiologist with the British Columbia association of Kinesiology (BCAK). On top of that I have a youth exercise specialization (YES), a performance enhancement specialization (PES) and education in post partum exercise.

I love working with a wide variety of clients including rehab, strength training, athletes and post partum women. I undersand the importance of helping others feel strong, confident, and comfortable in their bodies and thrive on creating an inclusive environment where everyone can feel empowered, supported, and motivated to reach their goals.

Fitness has always been a part of my life. As a kid, I was always moving—BMX biking for fun, swimming competitively in high school, and playing rugby. I loved the freedom of being active, whether hiking through the mountains or riding my bike from Port Moody to Vancouver as a young adult. When I first picked up weightlifting in high school, I had no real knowledge—just a drive to push myself.

Over time, lifting became more than just a workout; it became my foundation. It was what helped me overcome anxiety, depression, and addiction. It was what kept me going after the passing of my father. Fitness wasn’t just about looking better—it was about building resilience, discipline, and a mindset that carried over into every part of my life.

That passion led me to a career in coaching. I wanted to use my experience and knowledge to help others reach their goals in a way that was both effective and sustainable. I started as a corporate trainer, helping office workers fix their posture and regain energy. Since then, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life, specializing in fat loss and muscle-building transformations. One of my proudest moments was coaching a 50-year-old business owner to step on stage for his first bodybuilding competition.

But I’m not just here to coach—I’m still on my own journey, constantly learning and evolving. I have dreams of stepping on stage and competing in bodybuilding. That’s why I’m always studying, refining my approach, and expanding my knowledge so I can bring the best strategies not just to myself but to those I coach.

Being active has always been a big part of my life. Growing up on a large piece of property, many of my days were spent outside playing sports with my siblings, riding my bike, and climbing trees. I also played soccer and spent many years in different styles of dance, eventually dancing competitively.

I joined Fitness Unlimited when I was 14 and quickly fell in love with working out. I loved the feeling of getting stronger, learning so many new exercises and seeing how I could mold my body to be fit and strong. I replaced my love of dance with my love of the weight room. Once I entered the world of weight training and learning all about bodybuilding, I decided that I wanted to compete in a bikini competition one day. I finally accomplished this goal and competed twice at the age of 18 during my high school graduation year. To say it was tough during an already-hectic time in my life would be an understatement, but the feeling of accomplishing that big goal was unmatched and something I still strive for in everything I set out to accomplish today. It is also something I strive for with my clients as well; to help others work towards their goals, big or small.

After completing and graduating, I realized how much I wanted to continue on my fitness journey. In 2017, I applied and was hired at Fitness Unlimited as a receptionist, and in 2018, I fulfilled my dream and became a Certified Personal Trainer. From there, I went on to work as a Personal Trainer and reception team manager at FitU. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet people of all different lifestyles and exercise backgrounds,s and continued to learn so much through working with my clients. In 2020, when Covid hit, I was left unsure of the direction the world was heading in terms of gyms and sports facilities and in 202,2 I decided to take a step back and explore a new path.

It wasn’t long before I realized my real passion, and in 202,4 I returned to FitU as a receptionist and reception team manager once again. In June of 202,5 after studying all of my material again to refresh my knowledge, I passed my ACE Personal Training Exam and once again became a Certified Personal Trainer.

I couldn’t be more excited to work with those looking to improve their health and fitness, and help them to see everything they are truly capable of when they set their mind to it.
